Story

Prabhu (Siddharth) leaves to Bangalore for his higher studies in a reputed college where he finds his love in Rithika (Ashritha Shetty).Rithika's father (Avinash) a political goon comes to known the love track of the both and plans to kill Prabhu. On his plan he appoints a specialist in encounters Manoj Menon (Kay Kay Menon) to put an end to Prabhu.

Prabhu knowing this elopes Rithika to marry her. In this series Manoj Menon goes finding the couple. Rest of the story is how Prabhu escapes from the killer? Whether he wins his love?

Performances

Siddharth suited for the role Prabhu and does a different genre of film rather than his recent roles. His performance is good with rugged beard and good in action scenes.

Ashritha Shetty proved her acting abilities in her debutant film. Her chemistry with Siddharth came out well and she is beautifull.

Kay Kay Menon's role is the major plus point of the film. His humor in few scenes and intelligent way of tracking keeps the story interesing. He does a commendable performance. Others are good at their roles.

Technical Analysis

G.V.Prakash background score for the film is good and his musical tunes are impressive. Cinematography by Velraj is good in chasing sequences and shot the songs with rich colors. Kishore Te editing is crisp. Dialogues does their work and Manimaran's debutant direction is good.

Analysis

The first half of Udhayam NH4 is engaging with interesting narration and entertaining elements. Romantic track between the lead pairs is watch able to be loved by everyone. The pace is goes rock steady and comedy sticks you to the later half.

Second half comes in but misses the interest from the viewers as the twists are revealed and the thrill in the film goes out. Climax ends with faults which is a predictable one.

Applauses to Manimaran for making such story as an action entertainer with locking screenplay in the first half but gave a toss to twists and thrills in the second half.

My Take :-

Misses the thrills and twists in latter half!!!
