Ilayathalapathy Vijay is teaming up with director Atlee for a new film (Vijay 59), and the makers have completed 70 percent of the shoot already. Vijay who will be seen in a cop role will appear in a new bearded look in the movie.
The unit members want it to be a
surprising factor and the stills of Vijay in the cop look haven’t been released by the makers yet. The mass entertainer casts Samantha and Amy Jackson as the female leads. Scenes featuring Samantha have already been canned, while the unit members are currently filming the portions of Vijay and Amy Jackson.
Produced by V. Creations, Vijay 59 has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar and cinematography by George C. Williams. Editing is by Anthony L. Ruben.
Other supporting cast includes Prabhu, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Santhanam, Vadivelu, K.S. Ravikumar, Thambi Ramaiya, Rajendran, Azhagam Perumal, Kaali Venkat, Sunaina.
