Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer Thuppakki released grandly today on the occasion of Diwali gift to his fans.Thuppakki released by Gemini Film Circuit on Nov 13th worlwide.Zustcinema presents Thuappakki Movie Review.Premier show of Thuappakki was finished on Nov 12th evening

Story:

Jagadeesh (Vijay) is an army officer comes to his native village for a vacation. His parents engages him with Nisha (Kajal Agarwal) before he
returns to Mumbai. The major twist happens here when there is a bomb blast in Mumbai.Jagadeesh in his enquiry finds out the culprit and goes for further interagotion which reveals that there many bombs fixed in different places in the Mumbai which blasts in time. The next sceneraio is how Jagadeesh finds out the bombs and finds other terrorists who are involved in this. Finally whether he tie knot to Nisha who was engaged to him.

Performances:

Vijay does a justice to an army officer and also as a investigative officer. It is to say that Vijay is a mass entertainer with his performance and shows ease at times.Vijay's body language suited for Thuppakki role and his timing in comedy was good.

Kajal Agarwal role is limited but she does her best as Vijay's love interest and sensoius in songs with cute expressions in Google Google song.

Vidyut Jamwal is apt as intelligent villian. His physique is plus for his mind games with hero in few scenes.Sathyan and Jayaram had done justice to their roles.

Technical Analysis:

Music by Harris Jayaraj is just Ok but while coming to background score it was really best of Harris in all investigation scenes and major highlighted scenes.Couple of songs are foot tapping.Screenplay of the film is stiff to stick the audience to seat with thrilling on screen presentation by cinematographer Santosh Sivan.Sreekar Prasad's editing is good as chopped the film length to get the film story gripping.

Analysis:

AR Murugadoss’s well executed & gripping story of Thuppakki along with good direction is plus to the film.Vijay showed his stylish in this film even he is known for mass films.Scenes between Kajal Agarwal and Vijay are worth watchable.First half has some comedy elements.

While coming to second half the story goes predictable to everyone.Vijay mass elements given a miss in this film. The villian plot  was screenplayed very well with mind games concept.Songs are shot well but didn't concreed to the time. However key scenes of Vijay finding the clues are executed intelligently by Murugadoss.Slow pace of Climax but its before scenes makes every one eagerly wait for the end.

My Take :

Vijay's Thuppakki is a worthwatchable stylish action entertainer.

ZC Take :

This time its only style from Vijay. Watch it for this Diwali
